This is especially true in the United States where disparity of family income is undeniably the most skewed in the western world (GINI Index based on latest available statistics). The U.S. GDP, valued at 17.97 trillion ranks third in purchasing power parity behind China’s 19.51 trillion and the EU’s 19.18 trillion.
